Manitoba, Glaciers, and Lake Agassiz

Assignment Description

The intent of this paper is for you to explain:

  • how glaciers and Lake Agassiz have influenced the physiography of Manitoba.

Requirements:

  • Provide a brief written description of Lake Agassiz (i.e. its size, age, location etc.)
  • Discuss the effect of glaciers on Lake Agassiz
  • Discuss how the glaciers and Lake Agassiz affected Manitoba of today (reference Brandon)?
  • 2 page paper, including diagrams and maps (optional, but encourage), and cover page
    • Paper must be typed with 1.5 line spacing and on 8.5" x 11" sized paper
    • Diagrams and maps should be placed within the body of the text, close to where they're referenced
  • APA reference list and citations
