NoodleTools App

Use the NoodleTools app to add a source to your reference list. Simply scan a book's ISBN using your phone's camera or search by author/title to generate a formatted citation.

Be careful! Sometimes the citation generated isn't accurate. Make sure to verify the information in the reference with the item you have in-hand.

Citing Sources from EBSCOhost

Export article references form EBSCOhost directly into NoodleTools!

  1. Open a new browser tab and login to NoodleTools
  2. In a separate browser tab, open the EBSCOhost article
  3. Click the Export icon, located in the sidebar on the right-hand side of the article
  4. Select Direct Export to NoodleTools and click Save
  5. From the drop-down menu, select the NoodleTools project to which you want the reference saved
  6. Click Import references
  7. In the NoodleTools browser tab, open your project and view your Sources (reference list). You'll see the EBSCOhost article reference has been added to your list!
References imported from EBSCOhost may contain errors - especially with the capitalization of article titles. To make sure the reference is correct:
  1. Click the three dots to the right of the reference you just imported
  2. Select Edit
  3. Verify anything in the reference that's underlined in red and make necessary changes
  4. Click Save
