The Children's Collection is a collection of books for young children, located in the Children's Book Nook of the Assiniboine Library. It covers a wide range of subject areas, both fiction and non-fiction. This collection is of particular interest to students in the Early Childhood Education and Education Assistant programs, but is available to all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Assiniboine Early Learning Centre staff and kids occasionally use the Children's Book Nook for story-time.
