Assiniboine Community College (ACC) and the Manitoba Academic Integrity Network (MAIN) are pleased to present the 7th Annual Academic Integrity Inter-Institutional Meeting (AIIIM) 2024.

About AIIIM 2024

AIIIM 2024 is a teaching and learning event, with the goal of providing students with the best possible learning experience – one that is centered on integrity. Academic integrity refers to a commitment to academic standards and embracing the values of honesty, trust, respect, fairness, and responsibility, and having the courage to act on these values (Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity, 2021).

ACC's Portage/Southport Campus


Who should attend

  • Students

  • Professors, lecturers, instructors

  • Librarians

  • Educational Developers and other staff of teaching and learning centres

  • Administrators responsible for academic integrity policies and practices


Reasons to attend

  • To share the ways your institution promotes academic integrity.

  • To share your ideas, expertise, successes, and challenges around teaching and learning and academic integrity with colleagues from across Manitoba.

  • To examine challenges and opportunities related to generative artificial intelligence in educational contexts.

  • To learn from the experiences of your colleagues.

  • To discuss ways in which members from different institutions can collaborate on projects related to academic integrity.

  • To learn about MAIN and how to get involved in the planning and preparation of future events. MAIN consists of representatives from post-secondary institutions in Manitoba, as well as several other provinces. The primary deliverables of MAIN are AIIIM and the annual MAIN Speaker Series of online professional development sessions.


Registration

Registration to attend and participate in the event is free.

Registration will be limited in accordance with facility seating capacity. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Accommodations are available at the campus site.
