Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) Preparation

Test Content Breakdown

  • 50 multiple choice questions
  • This test consists of readings, no longer than ½ page each.  Some readings are functional, like a letter, warranty or advertisement.  Other readings are educational or literary, like a description of something scientific, historical or a poem.
  • This is not a memory test; there is access to the reading while answering the questions
  • After each reading, there are four to eight multiple choice questions that test your understanding of what you have read
  • Not timed: Suggested completion time approximately 40 minutes
