Library Materials for Distance Students

The library has a Distance Education section that supports distance students in specific college programs with:

  • DVDs
  • books
  • journals & magazines

The students in these programs have access to the distance collection while still having access to the main library print collection.

Borrowing Library Materials

Loan Period

  • 3 week loan for DVDs, books, magazines, and journals
  • 6 month loan for transcription and word processing library materials


  • 3 week extensions on borrowed items, unless they are requested by someone else
  • Maximum of 3 renewals per item

Overdue Items

Do you have an item that's overdue? Don't fret!

There are no fines for overdue materials. Notices are sent out to students to encourage prompt return of materials. If you don't return materials after six weeks, you'll be billed for the replacement cost.
